Research Scientist
Role Summary
Research Scientist working at the intersection of AI and electronic design automation (EDA). The role develops and deploys large language models and agentic AI systems to accelerate RTL design, simulation, and verification, and translates research into production features used by hardware engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Drive applied research and productionization of AI solutions for chip design and verification.
- Conduct research on AI-assisted EDA and practical methods to speed design and verification workflows.
- Train and deploy large language models at scale, optimizing for performance and real-world use.
- Design, build, and benchmark agentic AI systems using state-of-the-art and in-house models.
- Translate research innovations into production-ready features integrated with hardware workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to identify high-impact research directions.
- Publish and present research results to the AI and EDA communities where appropriate.
Requirements

Must-have:
- Strong background in large language models and deep learning.
- Practical experience with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
- Experience with large-scale model training and deployment infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Python and software engineering for ML systems.
- Experience with AI agent architectures, autonomous or multi-agent workflows.
- Ability to balance research rigor with pragmatic engineering to deliver production impact.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with electronic design automation tools, RTL design, or hardware-software co-design.
- Track record of publications or collaborations in AI/EDA research.
Education Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent research experience.
