Applications Engineer
Role Summary
Serve as the primary technical contact for enterprise customers evaluating and deploying ChipAgents. Lead pre-sales benchmarks and POCs, deliver training and onboarding, and drive production roll-outs while relaying field feedback to product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Deliver technical enablement, deployments, and customer success for ChipAgents' EDA platform.
- Lead technical discovery, demos, benchmarks, and ROI-focused proof-of-concepts for prospective customers.
- Integrate ChipAgents into RTL design, simulation, and verification flows; ensure production readiness.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide ongoing support and escalation.
- Create and deliver on-site and remote training, onboarding materials, application notes, and reference flows.
- Track usage and adoption metrics to drive renewals and account expansion.
- Collect and consolidate customer feedback into feature requests and bug reports; collaborate with product and engineering on prioritization.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and user groups.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and customer-facing abilities. Nice-to-have items listed separately.
- EDA expertise: Hands-on experience in RTL design and functional verification; strong command of Verilog/SystemVerilog and verification methodologies (e.g., UVM, lint, CDC).
- Experience integrating with common simulators and flows (examples: Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium, Siemens Questa).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; ability to perform root-cause analysis in complex verification environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; experience delivering demos, technical presentations, and training to engineering stakeholders.
- Proven ability to run and scope POCs and translate customer requirements into deployment plans.
- Comfort working independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Nice-to-have: Python, Tcl, or shell scripting; experience with cloud or on-prem compute clusters; exposure to formal verification or hardware emulation; familiarity with AI/ML-driven automation for design/verification.
Education Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
