Senior β 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, yield engineering, or NPI execution.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing YE team; set expectations for yield ownership and escalation behavior.
- Coach engineers on technical rigor, structured problem solving, and stakeholder communication; drive development and succession planning.
- Own yield performance for HBM NPI builds across PWF, Assembly, and Test via defect breakdown, PFA, and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain and use yield dashboards/trackers to account for yield loss and support data-driven decisions.
- Analyze and report yield deviations; trigger corrective actions and support block runs and partial conversions to detect early yield impact.
- Collaborate with PCS, PI, PE, and RDA to incorporate SPC/FDC charts and shift-left monitoring into dashboards.
- Lead major yield excursions: containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and cross-functional resolution.
- Represent Yield Engineering in NPI phase-gate reviews, readiness assessments, and ramp decisions.
- Identify yield improvement opportunities, including use of diagnostic and AI-enabled tools, and propose improvements to PI.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, yield engineering, or NPI execution.
- Strong background in yield analysis, SPC, excursion management, and NPI ramp support.
