Role Summary
Responsible for improving product yield for DRAM/NAND production lines at Fab 16 in Taichung by analyzing process and test data, diagnosing yield detractors, and driving corrective actions across manufacturing, equipment, and quality teams.
Works on cross-functional teams to support new technology transfer, process baselining, and long-term yield improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze inline, param, probe and DOE data to identify yield detractors and recommend corrective actions.
- Use semiconductor device physics, process knowledge, and statistical methods to troubleshoot yield issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis using structured methodologies such as FMEA, 8D and SPC.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional task forces to resolve complex yield, defect, or process integration problems.
- Collaborate with module engineering, equipment engineering, shift engineering, and quality teams to drive timely resolution of process or tool-related variation.
- Support new technology transfer, process baseline setup, and qualification activities.
- Publish Pareto analyses and maintain dashboards to monitor assigned product lines and detect abnormal trends.
- Conduct material, process and equipment evaluations and recommend optimization strategies to meet design and reliability requirements.
- Leverage AI-enabled and AI-assisted tools (including Copilot, agentic AI, LLMs) to accelerate yield analysis and automate workflows.
- Develop and maintain Tableau visualizations and other reporting solutions to provide actionable insights to engineering teams.
Requirements
Required skills and experience (concise):
- Practical knowledge of semiconductor device physics and manufacturing process flow.
- Experience analyzing inline/param/probe/DOE data and applying statistical tools for yield analysis.
- Familiarity with root-cause methodologies (FMEA, 8D, SPC) and problem-solving in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards and visualizations (Tableau or equivalent).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional work.
- Ability to evaluate materials, processes and equipment and recommend optimizations.

- Experience using AI-assisted analytics, automation tools, or large language models to accelerate engineering workflows.
