Experience Level
Senior — target candidates with 8+ years of relevant experience. The posting references 8–15 years; minimum qualification alternatives note Bachelor's +6 years, Master's +5 years, or PhD +4 years in related work experience.
Responsibilities
Deliver RTL design and validation for Wi‑Fi PHY IP and support cross-team integration.
- Define IP micro-architecture with project lead.
- Implement RTL in Verilog/SystemVerilog and perform RTL QA (linting, CDC checks).
- Collaborate with functional verification on test-plan development and debug.
- Develop timing constraints for synthesis and support implementation/STA flows as required.
- Produce technical documentation and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and relevant hands-on experience.
- Strong RTL coding skills in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Experience implementing signal-processing modules in RTL and/or HLS (HLS is a plus).
- Familiarity with RTL QA flows (linting, CDC); experience with PLDRC/CDC/CLP is desirable.
- Scripting skills (Perl, Tcl, or similar) for automation and debug.
- Experience with implementation or static timing analysis (STA) flows is beneficial.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills; ability to work across design, verification, and systems teams.
- Knowledge of Wi‑Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and signal-processing algorithms is a plus.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master’s (MTech/MSc) or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field. The posting allows equivalent practical experience in lieu of a degree (examples provided: Bachelor's +6 years, Master's +5 years, PhD +4 years).
