Working Student for Data Analysis (m/f/d)
Role Summary
Part-time working-student position supporting the Measurement, Analytics and Control (MACH) product line in Dresden. The role focuses on software validation, data preparation, and analysis to support semiconductor process-control products.
Work closely with engineers and product managers to validate features, evaluate software changes, and communicate results.
Experience Level
Entry-level / student role. Suitable for current Bachelor’s or Master’s students (minimum 4th semester) with limited professional experience.
Responsibilities
Primary tasks include software testing support, data handling, and communicating technical findings.
- Define and run software feature tests and document results.
- Prepare and clean data sets for analysis and compare results across test runs.
- Support evaluation of software changes and help identify unexpected behavior.
- Summarize and present findings to engineers and product managers.
- Maintain structured test evidence to support the product line.
Requirements

- Currently enrolled as a student (undergraduate or graduate); see Education Requirements for details.
- Curious, eager to learn, reliable, and structured; able to work in a team.
- Comfortable collaborating with distributed engineering, applications, and product teams.
- Clear communication in English; German is a plus.
- Interest in software testing, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
- Good Python skills are a plus but not mandatory.
Education Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (minimum 4th semester) in mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, data science, semiconductor technology, or a related technical field. Equivalent relevant academic programs will be considered.
