Role Summary
Principal individual contributor responsible for architecting and delivering agentic AI infrastructure integrated with CAD/EDA flows for Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) IP development. The role sits within the AI Center of Excellence and partners with IP designers, CAD engineers, and global platform teams to prototype, deploy, and scale autonomous agent workflows across design, verification, synthesis, PnR, and timing.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and operationalize agentic AI solutions that integrate with silicon IP development flows. Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and define AI-powered CAD infrastructure and orchestration layers connecting LLMs, agents, and EDA toolchains.
- Build agentic frameworks and autonomous agents to automate design and verification tasks and improve engineering productivity.
- Design multi-agent workflows to eliminate manual bottlenecks and automate verification loops, synthesis, PnR, and timing interactions.
- Prototype, test, and validate AI-CAD integrations in live development environments and iterate based on measurable improvements.
- Deploy and operationalize global Agentic AI platform components into SLM IP development pipelines with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Partner with IP design teams, CAD engineers, and platform teams to align architecture with deployment constraints and real engineering needs.
- Drive technical strategy and roadmap for AI-augmented CAD systems and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and production experience.
- Must-have: Proven production experience implementing agentic AI frameworks or LLM orchestration systems (examples noted: LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent).
- Must-have: Mastery of Python and C++ for production-grade infrastructure; strong proficiency with EDA scripting (Tcl, Perl, Shell).
- Must-have: Track record building orchestration layers and agents that interact with design, verification, synthesis, PnR, and timing flows.
- Must-have: Experience prototyping and integrating AI solutions in real silicon development environments and driving them to scalable deployments.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Silicon Lifecycle Management concepts (in-chip sensing, telemetry, analytics) and deep knowledge of IP development and verification workflows.
