Wireless R&D IP Verification Senior Engineer
Role Summary
Lead IP-level verification for flagship wireless IP (WAN, WLAN, GNSS, Bluetooth). Plan and execute verification strategies, develop scalable verification environments, and close coverage to ensure IP quality for production silicon.
Work within the Hardware Engineering organization in Bangalore and collaborate with design, architecture, and cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include verification planning, test development, and environment maintenance.
- Develop verification plans and testbenches using SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Write assertions, implement constraint-random tests, run simulations, and achieve coverage goals.
- Debug RTL and testbench issues using industry-standard debug tools (e.g., Verdi).
- Explore and apply advanced DV methodologies (formal, simulation) to improve quality and efficiency.
- Maintain and scale verification environments for reuse across projects.
- Collaborate with design, architecture, and cross-functional teams to meet schedule and quality targets.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills plus desirable add-ons.
- Must-have: Strong expertise in SystemVerilog/UVM and coverage-driven verification methodologies.
- Proven experience building and maintaining medium-to-complex SV/UVM environments.
- Experience writing efficient constraint-random tests and achieving coverage closure.
- Strong RTL and testbench debugging skills; familiarity with tools like Verdi or similar.
- Scripting for automation (Python, Perl).
- Nice-to-have: Exposure to wireless IPs (WiβFi, Modem PHY, DSP blocks), familiarity with formal/static verification, power-aware verification and gate-level simulation (GLS) experience.
- Good communication and ability to work with global teams.
