Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop front-end RTL for wireless or DSP IP (SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL).
- Define micro-architecture for next-generation wireless R&D products.
- Contribute to flagship Wireless IP across WAN, WLAN, GNSS, and Bluetooth technologies.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed design and verification teams.
- Support synthesis, timing closure awareness, and front-end verification flows.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Strong IP design experience, preferably in wireless or DSP domains.
- Proven RTL coding skills in SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
- Exposure to synthesis and Static Timing Analysis (STA); awareness of low-power and high-speed design techniques.
- Familiarity with front-end flows and checks (lint, CDC, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation: Unix/Linux shell, Perl, Python, Makefile.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Good communication and ability to work with global teams.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum qualification options specified in the posting: Bachelor's + 3+ years hardware engineering experience, or Master's + 2+ years, or PhD + 1+ year.
