Role Summary

Lead the system-level validation of Wi‑Fi IPs from requirements through certification and tape‑out. Manage a validation team, define validation strategy, and coordinate across hardware, firmware, software and system teams to deliver robust, certified Wi‑Fi solutions.

Experience Level

Senior - typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience in system‑level or IP validation for wireless or embedded systems.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include setting validation strategy, delivering coverage, and leading the team to meet certification and customer milestones.

• Lead system‑level validation for Wi‑Fi IPs on real‑time platforms, from requirements definition to execution and coverage assessment.
• Ensure validation meets Wi‑Fi Alliance certification, customer tape‑out schedules, and system performance targets.
• Coordinate cross‑functional debugging and root‑cause analysis across HW, FW, SW, and system teams.
• Mentor and develop validation engineers; own team planning, execution tracking, and performance reviews.

Requirements

Must-have technical and leadership qualifications.

• Hands‑on experience building and using validation environments, including Python, Linux, and scripting tools.
• Good understanding of Wi‑Fi or similar wireless communication systems.
• Proven experience in system‑level or IP validation with strong debugging and problem‑solving skills across hardware and software layers.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in cross‑functional, international teams; fluent in English.
• Previous technical leadership or team‑lead experience.

Nice-to-have:

• Interoperability or certification testing experience.
• Exposure to FPGA‑based validation environments.
• Advanced debugging across hardware, RTL, firmware, and software layers.
• Experience supporting or interfacing directly with customers.

Education Requirements

Engineering degree in computer science, electronics, or embedded/embedded systems (e.g., Bachelor's level or equivalent) was requested in the source posting.
