Wireless Connectivity System and Architecture Engineer

Role Summary

The engineer owns system-level integration, validation, and optimization of wireless connectivity SoCs and platforms (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, coexistence), and contributes to system architecture and product definition. Work spans hardware, firmware, drivers, and OS layers from silicon bring-up through production readiness.

Role requires cross-functional coordination to translate integration findings into architectural trade-offs and future product requirements.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include system integration, validation, debugging, and feeding learnings into architecture and product definition.

  • Lead end-to-end system integration of wireless SoCs and platforms across HW, FW, drivers, and OS.
  • Drive silicon bring-up, feature enablement, and system readiness for development milestones.
  • Develop and execute validation strategies, test plans, and stress scenarios.
  • Perform system-level debugging and deep root-cause analysis across analog, digital, firmware, and software domains.
  • Analyze and optimize performance, latency, throughput, power, and coexistence behavior at system level.
  • Integrate learnings into system architecture, specifications, and next-generation product definition.
  • Collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, software, validation, and product teams as the technical focal point for system-level wireless topics.
  • Produce technical documentation, integration guidelines, and reports; present findings to engineering and management stakeholders.
  • Adopt and drive AI-assisted engineering practices and automation for debug, validation, and documentation.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • Experience in system integration or system validation of complex SoC-based products.
  • Exposure to system architecture, system definition, or specification work for SoC or wireless products.
  • Strong understanding of wireless connectivity technologies (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, coexistence).
  • Hands-on experience with debug tools, lab equipment, and system-level validation environments.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor technologies and SoC development processes.
  • Proficient scripting skills (Python) and experience using AI/GenAI tools to automate data analysis, debug, and validation flows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice-to-have / Preferred:

  • Experience with wireless SoC bring-up or post-silicon validation.
  • Experience defining system architecture or specifications for wireless products.
  • Familiarity with firmware, drivers, low-level software, power management, system-level modelling, and simulation.
  • Experience applying AI/ML techniques to log analysis, anomaly detection, or automated failure triage; familiarity with on-device inference and AI/ML acceleration considerations.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is specified.
