Entry-level / Early Career. The posting expects candidates with an MS or candidates with a BS plus approximately 2+ years of semiconductor wet-process ownership experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include process startup, development, optimization, yield improvement, and production support.
- Develop, qualify, and optimize wet etch, strip, bevel etch, and plating processes.
- Lead process startup and transfer activities for production lines.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing line issues and root causes.
- Drive yield, defectivity, cost, and productivity improvement projects and deliver milestones.
- Collaborate with equipment and integration engineers to resolve production-impacting issues.
- Manage and improve Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and process metrics you own.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience required for the role.
- Hands-on wet-process ownership experience (vapor etch, dry strip, dry bevel etch, Cu plating, conventional bath and spin processes).
- DRAM development and manufacturing experience.
- Strong process-area knowledge and problem-solving skills for semiconductor fabrication.
- Experience working cross-functionally with equipment/integration teams and executing project milestones.
- Experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data-driven process improvement methods.
