VP of Worldwide Field Engineering
Role Summary
Lead the global Field Engineering organization, managing regional Application Engineering leaders and owning the technical customer journey across strategic accounts. Partner with CTO, R&D, Sales, and Product teams to drive adoption, integration, and expansion of on-chip monitoring and analytics solutions.

Senior - 15+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with extensive background in field, applications, or customer engineering roles.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include organizational leadership, customer technical engagement, and cross-functional partnership to deliver and expand technical solutions.
- Lead, develop, and scale a worldwide Field Engineering organization; manage regional and functional Application Engineering leaders across territories.
- Own the end-to-end technical customer journey from evaluation and IP integration to deployment and ongoing adoption.
- Oversee integration of IP and EDA-related tools into customer design flows (RTL, synthesis, place & route, static timing analysis).
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior technical and executive stakeholders at strategic customers.
- Partner with Sales and Business Development on technical sales cycles, design wins, PoCs, and account expansion opportunities.
- Lead customer technical evaluations, enablement activities, and technical review meetings to capture requirements and opportunities.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Program Management to translate customer feedback into product and feature priorities.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and skills.
- 15+ years in the semiconductor industry with significant experience in Field Engineering, Applications Engineering, Customer Engineering, or similar technical customer-facing roles.
- Proven experience leading and scaling global technical organizations through multiple management layers across geographies.
- Hands-on technical foundation in semiconductor design and physical design flows (synthesis, place & route, STA, SoC/ASIC) to engage directly with customer design teams.
- Experience with semiconductor IP and/or EDA solutions and integrating them into customer design environments.
- Proven track record managing strategic, executive-level customer relationships.
- Strong business acumen, executive presence, and customer orientation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Product, and Program Management; willingness to travel globally.
