Job Title

VLSI Integration Engineer

Role Summary

Work on SOC/ASIC integration for networking chips, focusing on RTL integration, chip build readiness, and automation of integration flows. Collaborate with functional design, DFT, verification, STA, physical design, CAD, package, and firmware teams.

Hybrid role based in Tel Aviv, supporting end-to-end chip integration tasks and flow development.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Early career. The role expects approximately 2+ years of proven experience in chip design.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include chip-level integration, debugging, and enabling downstream flows and teams.

  • Implement chip-level design through collaboration with cross-functional teams (Functional Design, DFT, Design Verification, System Verification, STA, Physical Design).
  • Debug functional and structural issues; resolve design quality problems that affect downstream flows.
  • Prepare designs for physical design readiness, emulation, and packaging.
  • Perform partitioning, CDC/RDC analysis, trial synthesis, and design quality checks.
  • Contribute to development, automation, and deployment of integration flows and methodologies.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and behaviors required to perform the role.

  • Proven experience in chip design and RTL integration.
  • Hands-on RTL design skills in SystemVerilog.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or Tcl).
  • Experience with design-for-test (DFT), synthesis readiness checks, or working with physical design teams is expected.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience delivering to physical design, emulation, firmware, or other internal customers.
  • Interest or experience in SOC design automation and integration flow tooling.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
