Verification SW Engineer
Role Summary
Join the System Validation Group to develop and maintain automated test suites and validation infrastructure for Wireless Battery Management System (WBMS) products and networking platforms within the Automotive Electrification Business Unit.
The role focuses on validating embedded, real-time software and connectivity stacks across complex test platforms and collaborating with design and applications teams to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests and test environments to validate embedded products.
- Develop and maintain software test programs, tools, and automated test suites.
- Create and manage test environments (real and simulated) for validation and development.
- Collaborate with development managers, design, and applications engineering teams to define test needs and coverage.
- Create test plans and test specifications; maintain and update test suites as functionality evolves.
- Improve test architecture and evaluate methods to increase testing efficiency and product quality.
- Identify, debug, and track issues; publish bug metrics and status updates.
- Enhance test coverage over time and support integration with hardware and networking stacks.
Requirements

- Proven experience validating or verifying application software, connectivity protocol stacks, or system software on real-time embedded devices.
- Proficiency in test automation and developing fully automated test suites.
- Experience programming in C/C++, Python, and familiarity with .NET environments.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and test-driven development practices.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and data-analysis skills.
- Ability to design and build test software architecture and to work with multiple concurrent projects.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
Education Requirements
B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering.
