The Verification Methodology Engineer develops and applies CAD/EDA software engineering methods to support verification activities. The role plans and executes technical projects, assesses architecture and hardware constraints, defines software approaches and design specifications, and delivers tooling and automation to improve verification efficiency.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop CAD/EDA software methods, routines, and utility programs to support verification flows.
• Assess architecture and hardware limitations and recommend technical solutions.
• Plan and manage technical projects for CAD software and methodology development.
• Define and implement new approaches, design specifications, and parameters for tools and flows.
• Prepare design specifications, analyses, and recommendations for review and approval.
• Evaluate vendor tools and capabilities and recommend required products or services.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications inferred from the role description:

• Proven experience in CAD/EDA software engineering or verification methodology.
• Software development and scripting skills for tool and automation development.
• Ability to analyze system/architecture constraints and produce technical specifications and documentation.
• Experience evaluating and integrating vendor EDA tools into verification workflows.
• Nice-to-have: experience with ASIC/SoC verification flows, EDA toolchains, or related hardware verification knowledge.
