Job Title
Verification Engineer - PCIe
Role Summary
Responsible for verification of PCIe controllers at the IP and sub-system level for NVIDIA GPUs and SoCs. Deliver verification architecture, testbench components, and coverage-driven verification to ensure design correctness.
Work with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon teams to define verification scope, build infrastructure, and validate implementations.
Experience Level
Entry-level; 2+ years of relevant verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Verify ASIC design, architecture, golden models and micro-architecture of PCIe controllers at IP/sub-system levels using UVM.
- Build reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers and scoreboards following coverage-driven verification methodology.
- Define verification scope, develop test plans and tests, and implement verification infrastructure.
- Drive coverage closure, debug failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and pre- and post-silicon verification teams.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Experience in verification at Unit/Sub-system/SoC level using Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Experience with functional-coverage-based constrained-random verification.
- Familiarity with DV methodologies such as UVM or VMM and industry-standard simulation and debug tools.
- Background verifying IP or interconnect protocols (PCIe, USB, SATA).
- Strong debugging and analytical skills; ability to develop verification infrastructure and testbenches.
Nice-to-have:
