Job Title

Verification Engineer - New College Grad 2026

Role Summary

As a Verification Engineer you will verify memory subsystem and coherent high-speed interconnect designs for NVIDIA mobile SoCs and GPUs. The role focuses on developing verification infrastructure, executing test and coverage plans, and ensuring correctness of design implementations within a hardware verification team.

Work impacts consumer graphics, automotive, and AI product lines; the team collaborates with architects, RTL designers, emulation and silicon verification groups.

Experience Level

Entry-level / New college graduate (recent Bachelor's or Master's). Typically 0–2 years of industry experience; equivalent practical experience considered.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include verification planning, infrastructure development, test execution, and cross-team collaboration.

  • Define verification scope and develop unit-level and subsystem testbenches, BFMs, checkers, and monitors.
  • Create and run directed and randomized tests; implement functional coverage and assertion-based verification.
  • Develop and maintain golden models and micro-architecture checks for memory subsystems or coherent interconnects.
  • Debug failures using simulation and debug tools; drive closure of verification issues to sign-off.
  • Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, emulation and silicon teams on requirements, regressions, and validation.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • Experience architecting testbench environments for unit-level verification.
  • Familiarity with randomized stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SystemVerilog; C++ and scripting skills.
  • Exposure to simulation and debug tools such as VCS, Debussy, or equivalent.
  • Prior design or verification experience with dynamic memory controllers or coherent high-speed interconnects.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with emulation and silicon bring-up workflows.

Education Requirements

Completing or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Base salary ranges provided by the employer: Level 1: 100,000 USD - 166,750 USD; Level 2: 116,000 USD - 189,750 USD. Eligible for equity and benefits.
