Job Title

Verification Engineer - Networking IPs

Role Summary

Join the networking verification team responsible for unit and cluster-level verification of networking IPs used in NVIDIA datacenter chips and systems. The role focuses on verifying queuing and scheduling datapaths and ensuring robust unit/cluster behavior across simulation, FPGA, and post-silicon stages.

Experience Level

Mid-level - typically requires 3+ years of verification experience working on complex units, sub-systems, or SoC-level verification.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility is to design and implement verification environments and tests for networking units and clusters to achieve verification closure.

  • Develop verification components and APIs for unit and cluster-level testbenches.
  • Architect testbenches and build verification environments using Specman and related methodologies.
  • Define test plans and verification infrastructure for clusters and systems.
  • Build reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
  • Implement functional coverage and drive unit/cluster-level verification closure.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, FPGA, and post-silicon teams to validate and harden the unit.

Requirements

Required skills and experience to perform the role effectively.

  • Over 3 years of hands-on experience in verification closure of complex units, sub-systems, or SoC-level verification.
  • Proven experience with networking-specific datapath and switching verification IPs.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills; experience with industry-standard simulation and debug tools.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to work in a global matrix organization.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with SystemVerilog (SV) and UVM; exposure to formal verification; experience using AI-assisted coding tools.

Education Requirements

BTech or MTech in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), or an equivalent degree is required. No certifications were specified.
