Job Title
Verification Engineer, Memory Subsystem
Role Summary
Work on verification of GPU memory-subsystem IPs and sub-systems, building verification infrastructure, tests, and coverage-driven closure. The role involves collaboration with architects, RTL designers, and pre/post-silicon teams in Bengaluru.
Experience Level
Entry-level β expects approximately 1+ years of relevant verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary verification tasks and engineering collaboration for memory-subsystem and related IP.
- Define verification scope and develop verification plans and test strategies for complex IPs/sub-systems.
- Design and implement verification infrastructure, including reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
- Create random/stimulus-driven tests and assertion-based checks; drive functional coverage closure.
- Perform performance and deadlock verification of the GPU memory subsystem unit.
- Use coverage-driven verification methodology to measure and close verification gaps.
- Debug simulation failures and work with architects, designers, and silicon teams to resolve issues.
- Integrate and use industry-standard verification tools for simulation and debug.
Requirements
Key skills and experience expected for candidates.
Must-have:
- Practical experience verifying complex IPs, units, or sub-systems (approximately 1+ years).
- Experience with random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification methodologies.
- Expertise in Verilog and familiarity with SystemVerilog or a similar HVL.
- Familiarity with verification methodologies such as UVM/VMM and industry-standard simulation/debug tools.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience specifically in memory-subsystem or network interconnect IP verification.
- Scripting skills (Python, Perl, shell) and strong debugging/analytical ability.
- Good communication skills and experience working effectively in cross-functional teams.
Education Requirements
B.Tech. or M.Tech. degree (as stated in the posting).
