Verification Engineer - GPU Fullchip

Role Summary

Join the ASIC Verification team to verify GPU full-chip designs, architectures and implementations. Develop verification infrastructure, define verification scope, and validate correctness across unit, subsystem and full-chip levels while collaborating with architects, designers and pre/post-silicon teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level β€” expects approximately 2+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities for verifying GPU ASIC designs and building reusable verification components.

  • Define verification scope and develop verification plans for blocks and full-chip.
  • Implement coverage-driven verification and maintain verification infrastructure.
  • Build reusable bus functional models, traffic generators, monitors, checkers and scoreboards.
  • Work with architects, RTL designers and pre/post-silicon teams to locate and resolve issues.
  • Use simulation and debug tools to validate designs at unit, subsystem and SoC levels.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • Proficient in Verilog and C.
  • Hands-on verification experience at unit/sub-system/SoC level.
  • Good understanding of computer architecture concepts.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to simulation and industry-standard debug tools.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of SystemVerilog or similar hardware verification languages (HVLs).
  • Experience with verification methodologies such as UVM or VMM.
  • Prior experience in 3D graphics or processor verification; C++ and scripting (Perl, Python).
  • Strong debugging and communication skills.

Education Requirements
