Verification Engineer - GPU Fullchip

Role Summary

Member of the ASIC Verification team responsible for verifying GPU full-chip designs and related IP. Build verification infrastructure, define verification scope, and validate correctness at unit, subsystem, and full-chip levels.

Work cross-functionally with architects, RTL designers, and pre/post-silicon teams to close verification gaps and improve product quality.

Entry-level / Early career. Typical expectation: approximately 2+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define verification scope and develop verification plans for GPU blocks and full-chip.
  • Design and implement verification infrastructure: bus functional models, traffic generators, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
  • Create reusable verification components following coverage-driven methodology.
  • Develop and run testbenches, perform simulation, and debug functional issues.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
  • Use standard simulation and debug tools to analyze results and improve coverage.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • Approximately 2+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience.
  • Proficiency in Verilog and C.
  • Hands-on verification experience at unit, subsystem, or SoC level.
  • Good understanding of computer architecture concepts.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of SystemVerilog or a similar hardware verification language (HVL).
  • Experience with verification methodologies such as UVM or VMM.
  • Prior experience in 3D graphics processing or processor verification.
  • Scripting and tool development experience (Python, Perl) and C/C++ programming experience.

Education Requirements
