Junior Mixed Signal Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join NXP's Catania team to verify analog and mixed-signal IP and SOC blocks for microcontroller products. The role works with designers and system engineers to create and run verification simulations, develop models and checkers, and ensure designs meet functional and DFT requirements.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Junior. Prior experience is not required; 6+ months of analog mixed-signal design or verification is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Primary verification tasks and collaboration responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with global design teams to verify complex SoC and analog/mixed-signal IP.
• Develop SystemVerilog Real Number and Verilog-AMS/Verilog-A models for analog blocks.
• Create and run simulation testbenches, track verification plan coverage, and report results.
• Detect and document functional and robustness issues in analog/mixed-signal designs.
• Perform top-level analysis and verification of test modes and DFT strategies for analog blocks.

• Must-have: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must-have: Proficiency in English (read, spoken, written).
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS, or Verilog-A.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with verification methodologies and coverage-driven verification.
• Nice-to-have: ~6+ months experience in analog/mixed-signal design or verification.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering is expected; a Master's degree is preferred. (No alternative-equivalent-experience language specified.)
