Senior Mixed Signal Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Lead mixed-signal verification for MCU and SoC development in the Catania design team, collaborating with analog, digital, systems, DfT and physical-design engineers to deliver production silicon.

Drive verification strategy, modeling, simulation, coverage tracking, and post-silicon debug to ensure designs meet functional and electrical requirements.

Experience Level

Senior — typically 5+ years of production mixed-signal verification experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop verification strategies for mixed-signal designs and SoC-level systems.
• Create verification plans and maintain traceability from requirements to tests.
• Build functional SystemVerilog models of analog blocks for system verification.
• Develop analog-mixed-signal (AMS) models to verify electrical behavior of subsystems.
• Implement assertions, checkers, and verification infrastructure where appropriate.
• Run simulations, measure coverage, and report progress against verification plans.
• Support tape-out quality assurance and provide post-silicon debug to identify and resolve silicon issues.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications:

• Must-have: 5+ years of production mixed-signal verification experience.
• Must-have: SystemVerilog modeling experience.
• Must-have: Ability to read and interpret analog circuits and digital blocks for verification purposes.
• Preferred: Experience with assertions, checkers, and digital verification methodologies.
• Preferred: AMS modeling and simulation experience.
• Must-have: Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
