Job Title

Verification Engineer - Audio and Auxiliary CPU Sub-Systems

Role Summary

Join the automotive verification team responsible for unit, cluster, and SoC level verification of Audio and auxiliary CPU sub-systems. You will develop verification environments and drive verification closure for CPU sub-systems used in Tegra-class SoCs.

This role interfaces with architects, RTL designers, FPGA and post-silicon teams to ensure functional correctness, robustness, and delivery of verification sign-off.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Candidates should have over 2 years of hands-on verification experience with complex units, sub-systems, or SoC-level verification.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on developing and owning verification environments and achieving verification closure for CPU sub-systems.

  • Architect and implement UVM-based testbenches and verification environments using SystemVerilog, UVM and C/C++.
  • Define test plans and verification infrastructure for unit, cluster and system-level validation.
  • Develop reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, scoreboards, APIs and encapsulated components.
  • Implement functional coverage and drive unit, cluster and SoC level verification closure.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, FPGA and post-silicon engineers to identify bugs and improve verification setups.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

  • Over 2 years of experience in verification closure of complex units, sub-systems, or SoC-level verification.
  • Proven experience with RISC-V, ARM or DSP core-based CPU sub-systems.
  • Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification methodology.
  • Practical experience with industry-standard simulation and debug tools and strong debugging/analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and clear written and verbal communication for collaboration in global, matrixed teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools for verification development.
  • Exposure to Formal verification.
