Verification Engineer - ARM Fabric Unit Level
NVIDIAJob Title
Verification Engineer - ARM Fabric Unit Level
Role Summary
Member of NVIDIA's automotive verification group responsible for unit-level verification of HSIO IP and ARM-based distributed interconnect fabric. The role focuses on developing verification environments for CPU/memory subsystems, NoC interconnect, and high-speed I/Os used in Tegra chips.
This is a hands-on verification engineering role working cross-functionally with architects, designers, FPGA, and post-silicon teams to deliver robust silicon units.
Experience Level
Mid-level - candidates should have 2+ years of practical verification experience with complex units, sub-systems, or SoC-level verification.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute unit-level verification for ARM-based fabric and HSIO IP using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
- Architect and implement UVM-based testbenches and verification environments in SystemVerilog.
- Define test plans and verification infrastructure for modules, clusters, and systems.
- Build reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
- Implement functional coverage and drive verification closure for the unit.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, FPGA, and post-silicon teams to debug issues and ensure unit robustness.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, tools experience, and teamwork abilities required to perform the role.
- 2+ years of demonstrated ability in verification closure of complex units, sub-systems, or SoC-level verification.
- Proven experience with ARM architecture and protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
- Strong experience with SystemVerilog and UVM methodology.
- Proficiency with simulation and industry-standard debug/verification tools; strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in global, cross-cultural, matrixed teams.
- Experience working with FPGA and post-silicon teams for validation and debug (preferred but common in role).
- Nice-to-have: experience using AI-assisted coding tools and exposure to Formal verification.
Education Requirements
Required: BTech or MTech in ECE, EE, CSE, or an equivalent degree.
