Job Title

Verification Engineer β€” ARM Fabric Unit Level

Role Summary

Member of the automotive verification group responsible for unit-level verification of HSIO/ARM-based fabric IP used in Tegra automotive chips. You will develop UVM-based testbenches and verification methodologies to validate control, sideband and data transport across CPU, memory subsystems, NOCs, and high-speed I/Os.

Hybrid role based in Bengaluru working with architects, RTL designers, FPGA and post-silicon teams to deliver verification closure for complex units and subsystems.

Experience Level

Level: Entry / Early-career β€” typically 2+ years of verification experience (unit, subsystem or SoC level) as indicated in the posting.

Responsibilities

Primary verification responsibilities for a unit owner during projects:

  • Architect and implement SV/UVM-based testbenches and verification environments.
  • Define test plans, create tests, and build verification infrastructure for modules, clusters and integrated systems.
  • Develop reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
  • Implement functional coverage and drive verification closure for the unit.
  • Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, FPGA and post-silicon teams to troubleshoot issues and harden the unit.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, experience, and behaviors:

  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience driving verification closure for complex units, subsystems, or SoC verification.
  • Proven experience with ARM architecture and protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
  • Practical experience with SystemVerilog and UVM verification methodologies.
  • Strong debugging and analytical ability; experience with industry-standard simulation and debug tools.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in global, matrixed teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience using AI-assisted tools for code or verification development.
  • Exposure to formal verification techniques.
  • Focus on automation and building reusable infrastructure to multiply team productivity.

Education Requirements

BTech or MTech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science fields (ECE, EE, CSE) or an equivalent degree is required as stated in the posting.
