Validation Engineering Intern

Role Summary

The Validation/Characterization Engineering Intern supports development and implementation of test and validation strategies for analog semiconductor products at the Freising site. The role works with Analog Design, Applications, and cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective test techniques, validate performance on ATE multi-site hardware, and resolve quality and application issues.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship; intended for students currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. No specific years of prior professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Support development and execution of validation and characterization plans for assigned product lines.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective analog test techniques for production and qualification.
  • Perform characterization testing and data analysis on ATE multi-site hardware.
  • Investigate and resolve customer quality and application issues.
  • Collaborate with Analog Design and Applications teams on design-for-test and validation activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional problem solving to drive yield enhancement, cost reduction, and capacity improvements.
