Job Title

Validation Engineer NCG

Role Summary

Work on validation of analog and embedded processing integrated circuits. Support product development across cross-functional teams, manufacturing sites, customers and partners to ensure product quality, yield and performance.

Primary mission: design, build and execute validation strategies and test setups to qualify devices, debug issues, and enable successful product ramp and production.

Experience Level

Entry-level β€” position targets early-career engineers (new graduates or equivalent experience); years of experience not specified.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include validation planning, test execution, and cross-functional problem solving.

  • Develop and implement validation strategies and test plans to meet product and profitability targets.
  • Design, build and operate bench setups for device testing and characterization.
  • Perform hardware bring-up, firmware/software test development, and device debug.
  • Support new product development, yield enhancement, capacity expansion and cost-reduction efforts.
  • Act as primary operational contact for an assigned product portfolio and resolve customer quality/application issues.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams and coordinate with wafer fabs and assembly sites to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and responsibilities; preferred traits listed separately.

  • Knowledge of validation engineering concepts and test methodologies.
  • Experience with bench instrumentation and test setup development (hardware and software).
  • Technical debugging skills for device-level issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to work in teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and manage time to meet project deadlines.
  • Experience establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required. Minimum GPA of 3.0.
