Role Summary

As a Test Engineer in the AAES Radar and ADAS Test Engineering team you will develop and maintain production test programs for radar ICs, support new product introduction and industrialization, and investigate customer returns on ATE systems. The role works closely with IC Design, Product Engineering, IC Validation and manufacturing sites during bring-up and release phases.

Experience Level

Entry-level; no minimum years of experience specified. Suitable for early-career engineers with relevant academic background and basic practical skills.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on development, ownership and continuous improvement of test programs and processes.

• Develop, maintain, debug, and optimize ATE test programs for radar ICs across multiple IP domains.
• Support new product bring-up, industrialization and production fulfillment to meet customer requirements.
• Perform root-cause analysis and support customer return investigations on ATE.
• Act as technical owner of test programs and manage changes to test programs and test hardware using a structured change-control process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IC Design, Product Engineering, IC Validation and manufacturing sites.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, communication abilities, and work approach.

• Interest in programming and familiarity with languages such as C++, Java, or VB.
• Basic understanding of digital, analog and RF function blocks and electronic circuits.
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor test methodology and basic data analysis skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive working attitude; ability to work independently and handle new challenges.
• Willingness to participate in overseas training.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with ATE test platforms.
• Good understanding of VLSI test techniques and industrial production flow.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience. Relevant technical fields include Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar; equivalent experience accepted.
