Validation Engineer
Role Summary
Support development and implementation of test strategies for analog semiconductor products to meet profitability, yield, and quality targets. Work with cross-functional teams (Analog Design, Applications, Product/Test) to develop cost-effective analog test methods and resolve complex technical and customer issues.
This role focuses on analog test development, ATE multi-site validation, design-for-test collaboration, and continuous improvement of test methods to reduce cost without compromising product quality.
Experience Level
Entry-level β minimum 1 year of professional experience in a related engineering role.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement analog test strategies and validation plans for new products.
- Design and deploy cost-effective test techniques and fixtures for production ATE.
- Collaborate with Analog Design and Applications teams to define design-for-test features and validation requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer quality and application issues related to test and validation.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional problem solving and yield-enhancement projects.
- Drive innovations in test methods to lower test cost and improve test coverage and reliability.
- Communicate results and project status to stakeholders; support on-time project delivery.

Must-have: At least 1 year of engineering experience; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective verbal and written communication; ability to work in and across teams.

Must-have: Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and manage time to meet project deadlines.

Nice-to-have: Exposure to analog test development, ATE hardware (multi-site ATE) or test program development; experience with validation and yield-improvement projects.

Nice-to-have: Experience collaborating with design and applications teams on design-for-test improvements.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required (minimum GPA 3.0). Degree level listed as Bachelor's Degree in the posting.
