Job Title

UVM SystemVerilog Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join the verification team responsible for validating AirSpan's ASIC and FPGA designs used in 4G/5G network equipment. The role focuses on developing UVM-based test plans, executing functional and regression tests, and collaborating with design teams to resolve hardware issues.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include verification planning, test development, execution, and reporting.

  • Develop and implement UVM-based verification plans and test strategies for FPGA and ASIC designs.
  • Create SystemVerilog test benches, test cases, and automation frameworks.
  • Perform functional, system-level, and regression testing and analyze results.
  • Debug failures, track defects, and work with design engineers to resolve issues.
  • Produce documentation and reports on test procedures, coverage, and defects.
  • Optimize verification processes and tooling to improve coverage and efficiency.

  • Must-have: Extensive experience (around 10 years) in UVM-based verification of FPGA systems.
  • Must-have: Strong SystemVerilog and UVM skills.

  • Must-have: Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python or Perl).
  • Must-have: Experience with C/C++ and with building/using bit-accurate models and debugging DSP designs.
  • Must-have: Familiarity with coverage metrics, debugging tools, and formal verification techniques.
  • Must-have: Knowledge of O-RAN architecture and 4G/5G protocols.
  • Nice-to-have: Verification of communication protocols and hardware/software co-verification experience.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with FPGA development and HDLs such as VHDL/Verilog.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
