Thin Film Process Engineer
Role Summary
Join the OMT PEE Thin Film team at Micron's Taichung Fab 16 to operate and optimize TF ACVD processes. The role supports process condition development, equipment and material evaluation, and process-management projects to improve yield, capability, and cost.
Work closely with equipment engineering and production teams to set process parameters and implement process improvements that support product quality and reliability.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early career. Suitable for students or recent graduates; internship or project experience is beneficial. No specific years of professional experience required.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include process development, optimization, and equipment/material evaluation.
- Establish and improve process conditions and technologies for TF ACVD.
- Upgrade process capability and implement cost-reduction measures.
- Develop and modify process management projects and documentation.
- Set up process parameters for semiconductor equipment and perform abnormality analysis and corrective actions.
- Evaluate, plan, and promote new equipment and materials.
Requirements

- Must-have: Effective communication and collaboration; ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must-have: Basic understanding of process engineering concepts and methodologies, including abnormality analysis and improvement.
- Nice-to-have: Internship or project experience in semiconductor or related process engineering.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with process optimization techniques, data analysis, and statistical process control.
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and TF ACVD is advantageous.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field (for example: Electrical, Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, or similar).
