TF Operation Process Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for implementing and optimizing Thin Film (TF) processes in a semiconductor fab to improve yield, quality, and throughput. The role works within the TF operations team and collaborates with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and equipment groups.

Focuses on process performance analysis, integration of new technologies, and delivery of projects that drive operational excellence.

Experience Level

Mid-level. The posting specifies a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar semiconductor process engineering role.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include process implementation, troubleshooting, and project work to improve TF operations.

  • Implement and optimize Thin Film processes to improve production quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve engineering challenges.
  • Develop and execute strategies for integrating new technologies into existing production systems.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance; identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Lead or participate in projects aimed at achieving operational excellence.
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools and digital insights into daily work to improve efficiency and quality (use responsibly and according to standards).

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and work experience for immediate contribution to TF operations.

  • Proven experience as a TF/process operation engineer in the semiconductor industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Experience with advanced photolithography equipment and associated technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
