Test Solutions Engineering Intern (BS) - Summer 2027
Role Summary
Join Marvell's Operations Test Solutions Engineering team for a hands-on post-silicon hardware validation internship focused on custom silicon for data center applications. Work alongside experienced engineers to validate devices, develop test requirements, and support lab evaluations and issue resolution.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship. Intended for current undergraduate BS students; typically 0–1 years of professional experience.
Responsibilities
Primary tasks support validation, data analysis, and basic test automation.
- Analyze silicon test data to identify trends and anomalies.
- Develop basic scripts and tools (Python, Perl, R) to support data analysis and test automation.
- Support lab evaluations and test execution for post-silicon validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and validation goals.
- Document findings and contribute to troubleshooting and resolution of circuit-level issues.
Requirements
Required technical skills and attributes to perform internship duties.
- Familiarity with scripting in Python, Perl, or R and working in a Linux environment.
- Understanding of semiconductor devices, circuit behavior, and test methodologies.
- Basic statistics and data visualization skills for analyzing measurement results.
- Strong analytical thinking and clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a lab environment and follow test procedures.
- May require eligibility to access export-controlled technology; non-U.S. applicants may be subject to export license review.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; expected graduation December 2027 or May 2028.
Compensation: Expected base pay range: $24–$47 per hour (USD).
