Job Title

Test Solutions Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for improving DRAM probe testing coverage, developing test algorithms, and supporting new DRAM product startup and yield improvement. The role works across test, design, and wafer fab teams to diagnose failures, validate DRAM features, and drive product quality and test cost reductions.

Experience Level

Entry-level; 0–1 years of relevant experience recommended.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include ownership of DRAM probe testing, test development, validation, and yield improvement.

  • Improve DRAM probe testing coverage and quality; own probe test flow and sign off test program releases.
  • Develop DRAM test algorithms and apply AI/automation to improve test efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Support new-generation DRAM product startup and drive yield improvement activities.
  • Perform design verification and DRAM circuit analysis using Verilog simulations.
  • Work with wafer fab/process/integration teams to identify and resolve process-related defects.
  • Design and implement test programs to validate DRAM features, modes, and commands; analyze characterization/validation failures.
  • Automate test program development and engineering workflows using scripting and data-processing tools.
  • Perform electrical and physical failure analysis and data-driven root-cause analysis to improve yield.
  • Develop probe solutions and collaborate on probe cards, test fixtures, and system validation for managed/custom DRAM products.

Requirements

Concise list of must-have and nice-to-have skills based on the role's responsibilities.

  • Must-have: Knowledge of DRAM testing concepts and DRAM circuit behavior; experience with Verilog simulation for design verification.
  • Must-have: Scripting and data-processing skills to automate test development and analyze large data sets.
  • Must-have: Ability to perform electrical/physical failure analysis and apply statistical or data-analytics methods for yield improvement.
  • Must-have: Experience developing or validating test algorithms and test programs.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with probe card/test fixture requirements, managed/custom DRAM products, and applying AI/ML techniques to testing.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience collaborating with wafer fab, process, device, and design engineering teams on yield and reliability issues.

Education Requirements

Open to fresh graduates; the posting does not specify a required degree, field of study, certifications, or equivalent-experience language.
