Test Process Engineer

Role Summary

Develop, execute, and optimize semiconductor test processes to verify product functionality and improve production quality and yield. Work with production teams to analyze test data, perform failure analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Position is based in Kulim manufacturing and supports production testing, test procedure maintenance, and continuous process improvement efforts.

Experience Level

Mid-level. No specific years required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include process development, test execution, and data-driven improvement.

• Investigate yield and quality issues; perform failure analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Develop, optimize, and control manufacturing and test processes to improve throughput and reduce defects.
• Analyze production test data and implement corrective actions.
• Execute and improve test procedures, test systems, and test setups.
• Maintain test process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.
• Support production testing and be available for on-call duties when required.

• Must-have: Ability to work in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment and collaborate across functions.
• Must-have: Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) such as ETS364, 93K, ETS800 or Flex module testers.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of basic electronics including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Other: Eagerness to learn and adapt to a dynamic working environment; willingness to support on-call duties.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields). Fresh graduates are explicitly encouraged to apply.
