Test Module Engineer (Contract)

Role Summary

Responsible for deploying, installing, qualifying and sustaining test equipment software and related processes for module-level testing to support product and package manufacturing. Works with technicians and engineering teams to maintain equipment health, process control, and productivity.

This on-site role in Penang focuses on timely issue resolution and continuous improvement to support high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include:

• Deploy, install, qualify, and sustain test equipment software and process controls for assigned modules.
• Maintain equipment health and process control systems to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues; lead corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and copy-exact implementations across factories.
• Participate in development and evaluation of equipment software to meet module specifications and high-volume manufacturing needs.
• Define or improve process control systems to prevent process excursions.
• Train and guide technicians to improve competency and sustain operations.

Education Requirements

Degree in an engineering field required—preferably Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering—or equivalent practical experience.
