Test Equipment Engineer
Role Summary
Design, develop and maintain hardware used for final test and characterization of semiconductor devices (sockets, pogo pins, change kits). Work with design, product and manufacturing teams to ensure devices are testable, reliable and produced cost-effectively.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include hardware qualification, maintenance, and continuous improvement for final test equipment.
- Qualify and improve final test hardware (sockets, pogo pins, change kits).
- Sustain OEE and lead hardware-related improvement projects.
- Maintain and order spare parts; perform preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
- Drive hardware cost-improvement initiatives.
- Review hardware design and engage early with NPI to ensure sustainability and testability.
- Collaborate with design, product and manufacturing teams to define hardware requirements.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of test failures related to hardware and implement corrective actions.
- Document hardware drawings, specifications and test results.
- Participate in design reviews and recommend adoption of new test technologies.
- Support final test automation projects and participate in team 5S activities.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
