Test Engineering Intern
Role Summary
Hands-on internship within Test Engineering supporting High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, Connectivity & Sensors, and Global Operations groups. Work focuses on test automation, measurement automation, test-fixture/probe-card support, lab measurements, data analysis, and contributing to yield and throughput improvements.
This internship provides practical engineering experience and mentorship from industry engineers.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities for the internship assignment include:
- Create automated test software to control test equipment and execute test plans.
- Develop measurement automation using C++, C#, or other tools and custom scripts.
- Support test fixture and probe card design activities, including PCB design and layout.
- Measure product using lab equipment such as DC source/measure units, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
- Process, verify, and analyze measured data; produce clear presentations and reports.
- Assist product teams with troubleshooting die sort test issues and yield excursions.
- Support yield improvement, cost reduction, and throughput-improvement efforts while maintaining quality.
Requirements
Must-have skills and attributes:
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework or practical experience.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or other object-oriented languages.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to use test equipment and interpret measurement results.
- Self-starter with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with PCB design and layout related to test fixtures or probe cards.
- Prior exposure to automated test systems, data processing tools, or yield analysis.

Education Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Minimum GPA of 3.0.
