Test Engineer, Space Power
Role Summary
Design, develop, and execute test strategies and production/test programs for power integrated circuits. The role combines hands-on lab validation, test-hardware design, ATE test-program development, and data analysis to ensure product quality and manufacturability.
The position sits on a product/test engineering team supporting space power products and requires coordination with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, quality, and assembly.
Experience Level
Mid-level β typically requires 3+ years of product/test engineering experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include lab and test-program work, analysis, and cross-functional execution.
- Plan and perform lab validation and debug of power semiconductor devices and ICs.
- Design test hardware and fixtures for lab and production use.
- Develop, debug, and optimize ATE test programs and ATE simulator test sequences.
- Identify critical test points, balance test coverage versus cost, and optimize production test time.
- Troubleshoot test programs and device failures; implement corrective actions for customer returns.
- Analyze test data, prepare concise technical findings, and present results to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement test standards, processes, and methodologies to improve quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, FAB, and assembly teams on test requirements and yield improvements.
- Manage project tasks, schedules, and deliverables in a multi-tasking environment.

Must-have: 3+ years of product/test engineering experience in semiconductor device testing and troubleshooting.

Nice-to-have: ATE programming experience (ETS364 preferred) and advanced ATE usage.
