Role Summary

Join the New Product Introduction (NPI) Test Engineering team to develop automated test solutions for automotive microcontroller and processor products. Work across pre‑silicon simulation/emulation and post‑silicon ATE test development to validate first silicon and enable production release.

Experience Level

Entry-level — fresh graduates or engineers with up to ~2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include both pre‑silicon and post‑silicon test development and cross‑functional collaboration.

• Perform pre‑silicon virtual tester simulations (RTL and GLS) and emulation using industry-standard tools.
• Develop and debug test programs on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for product qualification, characterization, and manufacturing release.
• Support first‑silicon validation and handover to mass production.
• Contribute to Design‑for‑Test (DFT) requirements and improve test methodologies, including automation and AI-assisted tools.
• Collaborate with design, product, validation, and manufacturing teams across global sites.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes for the role.

• Strong fundamentals in circuits, semiconductors, and microcontrollers.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (C/C++, Python, Perl, or similar).
• Familiarity or project/internship exposure to IC testing, RTL, or verification is a plus.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn in an R&D environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, geographically distributed team.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
