Role Summary

The Test Engineer defines test strategy and testability for new-product introductions (NPI) of analog power ICs such as DC-DC converters, e-fuses, ideal diodes and load switches. Responsible for test-program and test-hardware development, coordinating with design architects and site engineering, and delivering validated test solutions into production to support volume ramp-up.

Experience Level

Mid-level. The role requires more than 4 years of experience in test development in an R&D environment.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Define the test strategy for new products.
• Create test specifications and test plans.
• Plan and drive deliverables for test program and hardware.
• Assess test coverage and define Design-for-Test (DfT) requirements in collaboration with design teams.
• Define and implement innovative analog IC test methods.
• Lead ATE test program development and test-hardware schematic/design.
• Release test solutions to production and support volume ramp-up.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams (design, site engineering, production).

Requirements

Must-have and preferred skills for the role:

• Must-have: More than 4 years of test development experience in an R&D environment.
• Must-have: Mixed-signal circuit knowledge and hands-on analog IC testing experience.
• Must-have: Mixed-signal ATE knowledge and experience leading ATE test programs.
• Must-have: Test-hardware concept and schematic development experience.
• Must-have: Signal and power integrity understanding relevant to test solutions.
• Must-have: Ability to work effectively in international, multi-disciplinary teams and strong English communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: C++ for scripting/automation.
• Nice-to-have: Initiative, ownership mindset, customer orientation and quality focus.

Education Requirements

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Applied Science or Engineering of Electronics (e.g., Electronics Engineering). Noted in the source as required.
