Role Summary

The Software Systems Engineer develops, modifies and maintains software systems and tools to support test equipment, data analysis, reporting and workflow processes. The role partners with Design and Test Lab teams to translate requirements into integrated software solutions and to perform on-site debugging, adaptation and optimization of test machines.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop end-user tools for data analysis, reporting and workflow with database interfaces.
• Analyze and improve existing software and related processes.
• Integrate in-house software with test equipment and support automation.
• Serve as primary technical contact for Design and Test Lab requirements and new functionality.
• Perform on-site software debugging, machine adaptation and performance optimization.
• Prepare system engineering analyses, technical documentation and change proposals.
• Write, modify and maintain application code for software systems.
