Role Summary
Work on electrical and optical test program development for silicon photonics and semiconductor devices, including technical management of development projects and collaboration with international teams. Responsibilities
Core day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement electrical semiconductor test programs and ensure reliable execution across partners.
- Perform device characterization and analyze measurement data to provide technical feedback to designers.
- Partner with internal teams to ramp new silicon from development to product and hand over to production teams.
- Identify and implement solutions to improve yield and reduce test time.
- Collaborate with international and cross-organizational teams to deliver projects.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering and programming.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry (posting requests over 2 years of experience; new graduates may be considered).
- Experience with photonic or semiconductor testing or validation.
- Proficiency in programming for test automation and analysis, e.g. Python; familiarity with VBA is useful.
- Ability to manage development projects and work across multiple internal partners.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of probability and statistics tools such as JMP.
- Experience leading cross-organizational activities and strong problem-solving approach.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Physics, or equivalent practical experience. The posting explicitly notes that new outstanding graduates will also be considered.
