Test Engineer
Role Summary
Join the ATE Engineering team in Zhubei, Taiwan to develop and deliver automated test (ATE) solutions for high-volume production, product qualification, and failure analysis. The role owns test development from specification through production sign-off, manages outsourced test projects, maintains ATE tooling, and produces accurate documentation and progress reports.
Experience Level
Mid-level / Experienced — typically requires at least 5 years of experience in ATE test solution development.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include development, execution, and maintenance of ATE test solutions and related lab infrastructure.
- Develop ATE test solutions from test specification to production sign-off.
- Manage and represent the company on outsourced ATE development projects.
- Execute ATE testing for product qualification and failure analysis.
- Maintain and upgrade ATE hardware and software platforms, including relocations and platform changes.
- Document test programs, procedures, and results; provide regular progress reports.
- Maintain a tidy, organized ATE lab with retrievable hardware, software, and tooling.
Requirements
Required and preferred technical skills and experience.
Must-have
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ATE test solution development.
- Proven ability to develop production-ready ATE test programs and validate them for manufacturing use.
- Experience with ATE testing for qualification and failure analysis.
- Fluent English (oral and written).
Nice-to-have
- Experience with LTX-Credence Unison OS (D10/Diamond X).
- Programming experience in C++; experience with RF devices or RF testing.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related technical field.
