Summer Internship - Wi‑Fi Analog RFIC Design (Stockholm)

Role Summary

Eight–ten week paid summer internship within the analog RFIC design team in Stockholm. The intern will work on development, simulation, and characterization of analog and RF circuits and may continue into a master’s thesis project in 2026/2027.

The role is hands-on and lab-focused, collaborating with RFIC engineers on product-support and verification tasks.

Experience Level

Entry-level — Early-in-career internship; suitable for master's students with prior coursework and project experience in analog/RF topics.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include contributing to analog/RF design and measurement activities:

  • Perform circuit design and simulation for analog and RF building blocks.
  • Set up and execute laboratory measurements and characterization.
  • Analyze measurement data and communicate results to the design team.
  • Work in EDA tools (Cadence or similar) to support development tasks.
  • Document test procedures and produce technical reports.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • Understanding of analog and/or RF design principles and methods.
  • Experience with Cadence or a similar IC design environment.
  • Experience with laboratory measurement equipment such as signal sources, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate technical findings clearly.

Nice-to-have: prior RFIC project experience and familiarity with RF characterization workflows.

Education Requirements

3+ years of MSc studies in Electrical Engineering (master's-level students preferred). Information on degrees or equivalent practical experience: the posting specifies MSc-level progress in Electrical Engineering.
