Test Engineer
Role Summary
The Test Engineer will develop, execute, and improve manufacturing and reliability test strategies to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability across the product lifecycle. This role works closely with Manufacturing, R&D, Product and Process Engineering, Quality, and global engineering teams.
Experience Level
Mid-level. The posting requests approximately 2–5 years of experience in test or reliability engineering within high‑tech manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Drive test engineering, reliability validation, and support new product introduction and production ramp for assigned products.
- Own test strategy, test coverage, and execution for assigned products; define and maintain test plans and specifications.
- Serve as primary technical owner for test-related issues and escalations.
- Plan and execute reliability testing; analyze test and reliability data to identify failure trends and improvements.
- Support design for testability and reliability with R&D and product engineering.
- Execute NPI activities, product transfers, production ramp, qualification, and engineering change management.
- Support yield, quality, and cost-improvement initiatives; participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with local and global teams; communicate technical status, risks, and data-driven recommendations.
- Comply with and promote EHS policies and safe work practices.
Requirements

- Must-have: 2–5 years of experience in test engineering or reliability engineering in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.
- Must-have: Hands-on experience in manufacturing test development, execution, and test data analysis.
- Must-have: Experience supporting reliability testing, qualification, and validation activities.
- Must-have: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills; effective English communication for global teams.
- Nice-to-have: Experience in optical, photonics, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Optical), Physics, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
