Test Engineer

Role Summary

Design and deliver production test solutions for new power IC products and custom projects, including test plans, test hardware, and test software. Collaborate with product engineering and design teams to collect data, deploy tests to the production floor, and resolve test-related production issues.

Qualify vendor equipment and support mass-production test operations.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Typical candidate: M.S. in Electronic Engineering or B.S. with 3–5 years relevant experience; equivalent practical experience considered.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include developing and deploying automated test solutions and supporting production testing:

• Develop complete test plans, test hardware, and test programs for new products to meet mass-production requirements.
• Collect test data and provide feedback to product engineering and design teams.
• Support the production test floor to troubleshoot and resolve test-related problems.
• Develop system-level test solutions for custom projects and evaluate vendor equipment/platforms for production.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and relevant experience; preferred items noted.

• Must: Solid understanding of fundamental electrical concepts and circuit-level behavior.
• Must: Proficient programming and debugging skills in VC++.
• Must: Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred: Project experience in IC testing, ATE development, or component-level circuit design.
• Preferred: Experience in power module development/testing or hardware engineering testing.

Education Requirements

M.S. in Electronic Engineering preferred. B.S. in Electronic Engineering or related technical field acceptable with 3–5 years of relevant experience. English proficiency: CET-4 required; CET-6 or above preferred. Equivalent practical experience is considered.
