Test Engineer
Role Summary
The Test Engineer will support manufacturing test operations at the Guadalajara South Campus, reporting to the Automation Manager. The role oversees test equipment, test software, and test processes to achieve production volume, quality, and cost targets.

Responsibilities
Primary duties include designing, operating and improving test systems and ensuring test process effectiveness on production lines.
- Direct and coordinate test engineering activities and personnel for test equipment, test systems and software.
- Develop, procure, install and calibrate instruments and control devices used for testing and data collection.
- Analyze and interpret test data; prepare technical reports for engineering and management.
- Develop or use software and hardware to run tests and collect results.
- Train floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware, software and troubleshooting techniques.
- Perform root-cause analysis on test yield problems and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support equipment verification, integration in production and maintain process documentation.
